Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your IIM X account and associated data at any time. This page explains how and what happens.

How to request deletion

• In the app: go to Me → Edit Profile and use the account options, or
• By email: send a request from your registered email or include your registered mobile number to ruthlessrohan007@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my IIM X account".

What gets deleted

Upon verified request we permanently delete your profile (name, contact, institution, photo and all profile fields), your posts, jobs, events, asks, referrals and connections. Your profile photo is removed from our image storage.

What may be retained

We may retain a minimal record only where required to comply with legal obligations or to prevent fraud/abuse (for example, a hashed reference of a banned number). Any retained data is kept no longer than necessary and is not used for any other purpose.

Timeline

Deletion requests are completed within 30 days. You will receive confirmation by email.
